A reflective and collaborative space

I offer supervision and consultation to trainee and qualified Psychotherapists, Counsellors, Counselling and Clinical Psychologists, Mental Health Professionals, and Social Workers — both in private practice and within agency contexts.

My approach respects the uniqueness of each practitioner’s theoretical orientation, while providing a reflective, attuned, and collaborative supervisory space.

My Supervisory Orientation

My supervision style is rooted in an Integrative–Relational approach, shaped by my training as a Chartered Counselling Psychologist, Certified Transactional Analyst (CTA), and Provisional Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst (PTSTA). I also draw on Analytical Psychology and depth-oriented traditions, which open space for symbolic, unconscious, and relational dimensions of clinical work.

Experience with Complexity

I have supervised therapists working with a wide range of presentations, including personality difficulties, trauma, and neurodivergence (Autism, ADHD). My supervisory style adapts to your needs — whether you are seeking theory integration, skills development, or space for emotional and existential reflection.

The Supervisory Dialogue

I view supervision as a living and creative process, one that supports your ongoing development as a practitioner. It is a space for:

  • Navigating ethical dilemmas and conceptual uncertainty

  • Exploring transference, countertransference, and relational dynamics

  • Deepening clinical confidence and professional identity

  • Integrating theory, skills, and emotional reflection

As David Henderson put it, “Supervision is therapy for the professional Self.” I hold this spirit closely in my work with supervisees.

A Metaphor

I often think of supervision as a form of gardening: different practitioners require different conditions in order to thrive. Sometimes this means “re-potting” — recognising when you’ve outgrown an earlier container and finding new conditions for your next phase of growth.

Fees

£80 per session for individual supervision.
