About Me

I am an Italian Chartered Counselling Psychologist and an Integrative-Relational Psychotherapist. My approach is grounded in the belief that meaningful psychological change occurs within a relationship built on trust, openness, and mutual respect. I work with adults and teenagers in individual, couple, and group therapy settings, adapting my methods flexibly to meet the unique needs of each client.A bearded man with glasses and long hair wearing a brown jacket

My clinical orientation is influenced by Radical Psychiatry, which encourages a critical perspective on diagnostic labelling and emphasises the role of power, context, and social meaning in psychological distress. This approach aligns with my commitment to viewing each person not as a set of symptoms, but as a unique subject shaped by relationships, culture, transpersonal dynamics, and experience.

I have worked extensively with neurodiverse individuals, including those on the Autism Spectrum and people with learning disabilities, across a variety of clinical, support, and leadership roles. This experience has deepened my appreciation for the ways people express emotion and form relationships outside normative expectations. In my work, I am particularly attentive to those who feel marginalised—such as trans individuals navigating identity, embodiment, and recognition in the face of systemic and interpersonal challenges. I have supported self-harming clients on the autistic spectrum to find safer and more meaningful ways to express their needs and pain, with a focus on relational trust, emotional literacy, and practical strategy development.

I hold that therapy is most effective when clients feel safe enough to explore difficult or uncomfortable experiences. To this end, I actively invite open dialogue about the therapeutic relationship itself. I view this not as a peripheral concern, but as central to the healing process. Trust and therapeutic alliance are not taken for granted; they are built, moment by moment, through authentic and honest engagement.

My practice is integrative and relational. I draw on a range of approaches to suit the evolving needs of each client, with a particular interest in Analytical Psychology. This perspective invites us to consider the role of the unconscious, symbolic meaning, and the developmental journey of the self. While some difficulties may be rooted in past experiences, not all suffering stems from the personal past. Some challenges emerge from present tensions, existential uncertainty, or unexpressed inner potential. This orientation allows space for complexity—acknowledging both history and emergence, both wound and possibility.

Clients often come to me feeling stuck in cycles of anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or unresolved trauma. Others may not have a clear label for their experience, but carry a persistent sense that something isn’t quite right. Together, we explore what matters to them, clarify their values, and co-create meaningful, realistic expectations about their future.

As a therapist, I aim to offer a warm, thoughtful, and non-judgmental space. I am open to regular reflection on how we work together, trusting that the therapeutic relationship itself can be a place of intimacy, insight, and change.
